Jinny Wong has been re-elected as a CUPE Local 4092 Vice-President! She will be diligently working to ensure that Air Canada will uphold their 10 year collective agreement, while continuing to spread awareness and enforce health & safety procedures as a work place committee member.
Jinny was appointed a Member of the CUPE Health & Safety Committee in June 2012 for Air Canada In-Flight Service. As a Member, she is trusted to protect fellow employees against occupational hazards, guide them through the WSIB process, and uphold requirements of the Canada Labour Code, Part II.
Previously, Jinny was the Project Coordinator of the Crew Scheduling IT department at Air Canada. In this position she was responsible for coordinating testing of new software and updates, as well as producing, shooting, writing, and hosting all related tutorials for employees.

Jinny Wong graduated from the Journalism-New Media program from Sheridan College, where she earned the JNM 2010 Most Promising T.V. Host award.
In her intensive study, the Journalism-New Media class produced Newsweasel.com, a multi-media website. You will find some of Jinny’s published article and podcasts here. The students also produced a live news show, Newslink@4 where Jinny was a host and a writer.
Jinny Wong has had hands on experience working with Final Cut Pro and related Mac software, as well as industry level equipment: Sony XDCam, Sony DVCAm, ENPS, Final Cut Server, Rough Cut Editor.
She has a performance background both in live theatre, and via live web-feed. Jinny thrives in team environments, has a keen ability to work under pressure and is a creative problem solver.
